During the summer months, Sjöbo municipality offers its residents and visitors swimming and bathing opportunities at three outdoor baths: Orebadet, Frenningebadet, and Östra Färsbadet.

Swimming lessons will take place during weeks 25-27 at all three outdoor baths.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The positions are located at Orebadet in Sjöbo, Frenningebadet in Frenninge, and Östra Färsbadet in Lövestad. Work shifts may be assigned at different baths with short notice. Please note that your choice in the survey is only considered a preference and cannot be guaranteed.

As an employee at our outdoor baths, you contribute to creating comfort and safety for our guests. Job responsibilities may include supervising swimming and/or teaching swimming, as well as maintaining order in the facility and within the bathing area. You will also be responsible for cleaning and maintaining the premises, changing rooms, toilets, pools, and green areas, as well as other common tasks. The position also includes work with kiosk operations, including the sale of swimming tickets, ice cream, snacks, and more.

QUALIFICATIONS

We prefer that you have a swimming instructor and/or lifeguard training or other documented education/knowledge in the field.

You should be service-oriented, ambitious, meticulous, and have an easy time collaborating.

We also prefer that you have previous experience working at swimming facilities and experience with children and youth.

You should be at least 18 years old during the year.

The baths are located on the outskirts of the various towns, so please consider how you will get to your workplace before applying.

There will be an introduction session with mandatory attendance for those hired on May 16. The introduction day will cover swimming safety, CPR, and work routines.

Our three outdoor baths are open:

• Orebadet: 1/6-21/8
• Frenningebadet and Östra Färsbadet: 12/6-16/8

Employment duration and start date are to be agreed upon during the period from June 1 to August 31. Working hours are scheduled (day, evening, and many weekends) part-time employment as agreed.

OTHER

When applying, please note the days during the respective outdoor bath's opening hours that you cannot work, and avoid requesting time off during weeks 28-32 if at all possible. Please note that it is difficult to get time off after a set schedule.
